That would not have been good at all.
Was pretty hot today, but we launched them. Or at least 2 of the hours did. The pump broke during the last hour... Oh well.

well guess it just wasnt meant to be then.
they have been working on fixing our driveways (heavy NOISY trucks moving up and down the street at 7am ); thought that this week they would be taking it easy so I thought sleeping in would be ok....so this morning (8amish) my door buzzer goes off---was just about back to sleep after hubby went to work (it was the electric company wanting to do something in our electrical closet downstairs...WHY they rang my door I do not know since they were already in by the time I registered the buzzer and got to the door ). guess sleep was just not in my cards for today
hey no rain today...first day in a while.

Guess not. Oh well. It all has worked out fine.
That is no fun. I like my sleep and people waking me up early does not make me happy!
Hadn't had rain in a few days. Just got dumped on a bit ago. Lots and lots of rain!

no rain again for us (yeah!!!)....but I slept most of the day away think I have almost gotten 6 hours of sleep in a roll (almost 4 3/4 is almost 6 right?).
sleep is a very important thing, new study says that if you dont get like 7 hours you shorten your life span for each hour you miss ...think I need to get another nap in now.
(have been doing the wayfair quests on 3 accounts this week, forgot how much work they were).

Woo woo woo, hold the phones. Cosy are you a site admin now? Cause your name is all strange and stuff!?!?!
Was there a weekend? I didn't see a weekend. Between apartment hunting, a Sunday picnic, followed by a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and then the wedding and driving home on Monday I didn't see a weekend anywhere.

congrats for mrs pwnd and her new job!!!
/sad panda for pwnd and his ...lack of days off for the next (will lessen the blow) 'few' weeks
hubby spent today fixing the clock in the subaru...seems that the issue is a well known issue (found TONS of info on it on the web...including solutions!) and now we have a working clock again, woot!! (and ~ $70 still in our pocket!)...just hope it works for a good long time (unlike other things he has 'fixed' in the past---)

The big issue with on days off is that I don't have time to go up and visit the wife. If I had Fridays off I could drive up Friday morning and spend time with her Friday afternoon (she works 9 hours M-Th, and a half day on Fridays), all Saturday, and most of Sunday before heading back down for work. So that is why it sucks...
Glad the clock is working again. Need to put new brakes on the Honda soon. They are starting to squeal!

you mean squeak
go up and visit? her job is not near you? THAT would be hard (hubby and I did that when we were dating and in college/grad school...I would leave after my classes on friday and return at the weeeee hours of monday morning---not much traffic then , put loads of miles on my crx.), sorry to hear if that is the case. (and I can understand the apartment hunting....would that also mean you would be changing jobs or trying to find a place in between your 2 jobs?)

Also, why is this world filled with imbeciles and stupid people?, is it the internets fault or the parents?

Indeed, that means the job is not near me. So we get to spend the next nine months apart. So once school ends I'll head up there. So 2nd semester I will be looking for a job in that area. Yay but it's going to be hard.
Parents fault imo.

oh yeah parents fault. Kids rule the home now (just check out some of the tv shows that are popular like honey bb and the new program supernanny....there is a reason why she has a job) parents do not disciple their kids, they let them have their way and then when they get into the real world they think they deserve to be first and get their way all the time....
when I was a kid we ate what was put in front of us, mom didnt care if we didnt like it--we ate it (of course my parents were kids during the great depression), kids were to be neither seen nor heard, only speak when spoken to etc. Now kids tell there parents what they want for dinner, SCREAM if they dont get it, etc. And I feel sorry for the teachers (like pwnd) that have to deal with these kids in class.
pwnd gee so you will be moving up north to the great land of....well, still corn up north from you sorry that you will have to leave your current school. (you might want to start looking now)

TV has a huge impact, kids see the TV kids getting their way and think they should. Parents see it and think that is how everyone else does it. All of a sudden every kid is an angel who can't do anything wrong and is perfect. Causes lots of problems.
My parents did the same thing, we obviously weren't in the Great Depression, but we ate what was sat in front of us. We didn't like it, tough. Now we cater to the kids. It sucks.
I'll miss my coworkers and the students, but the rest of the situation is somewhat deteriorating. So it might be a good time to get out. Most schools will start posting jobs for next year in March, April, May. So I'll really start looking in January and February.

I see, well we were so poor when i waas a kid that getting food 2 times a day was insanely satisfying, even though it was something really cheap.
Hmm fair enough, it just irks me how bad kids are raised man.
And Pwnd, sorry you won't see your wife for 9 months, but on the bright side, you won't see your wife for 9 months :P

I think he will get to see her on those long weekends (holidays we sometimes call them), but not as much during the rest of the school year....and public schools seems to have a few more of them than the private one I attended.
and yes, azzer it irks me as well.
had salmon for dinner, good recipe.

Yes I will see her on the longer weekends, but otherwise not too much. And everyone keeps telling me that they have their wife or husband go away for a weekend or a week and they love it. Right, I loved it too when my wife went away for a weekend or a week. But that also came with knowing they were coming back after that time. It is a totally different ball game when you know they aren't coming back next week, or the following week.
I had leftovers. Thank goodness my wife left me a bunch!
